農業分野での新製品研究開発に加え、パシフィック アグ リサーチはペスト コントロール アドバイザー、栽培者、研究者などを対象とする、年に一度行われる教育イベントを主催しております。 これらのイベントトピックは、新たな害虫問題、農薬の規準問題、および代替農業技術などを含んでおります。 |

私たちのセミナーでは、ペスト コントロールの専門家が現在最も興味を持っている問題について、特に注目しております。 例えば、昆虫害虫の生物的特長、植物病害疫学、新たな作物害虫、害虫の耐性、規準課題、良い土地と土壌の管理問題、有機農法技術、臭化メチル（Methyl Bromide）代替剤、作物害虫の識別、作物病害の前兆予測と対策などです。 これらのセミナーは、ペスト コントロール アドバイザーや、クオリファイド アプリケーター（Qualified Applicator）の免許保持者の定期必須履修課程として、カリフォルニア州農薬規制部（the California Department of Pesticide Regulation）により承認されています。 内容によっては、これらのイベントの多くは国家公認クロップ アドバイザー（Certified Crop Advisor）免許のための、定期履修課程としても承認されています。 またこれらのセミナーは、実際の農産業界に向けた最も重要なサイエンス ミーティングとして多くの専門家に認められています。 参加者は、終日これらのイベント全てに参加することを奨励され、イベント最後にテーブルを囲んで行われる全体ディスカッションでは、作物の栽培従事者の役割として忘れられない大いに意味のある深い体験になります。
