Comprehensive SOPs

Standard operating procedures are the materials and methods by which our commercial research company conducts the everyday business of applied science in product development.

 

All of our methods are written by our scientific staff and reviewed by Quality Assurance professionals to assure that sound scientific technique and unbiased sampling procedures are followed. These procedures have been developed here at Pacific Ag Research over the past 25 years, and are a result of research work on over 70 crops.


In the Environmental Fate and GLP program, these procedures reflect record keeping, experimental procedures, equipment maintenance and usage, personnel, and almost all aspects of the organization including conduct of the field research program. Since a research program is never static, these SOP’s are under constant revision along with internal and external scrutiny. This is accomplished through formal internal and external audits that insure accuracy and relevance to current technology and program directives. An audit is best accomplished by third parties, and Dr. Sances routinely contracts outside QA’s for this purpose. These professionals report directly to him with results of inspections and reviews of the company’s annual SOP research portfolio.
