Product Utility and Market Research
How does your product compare to the standards now in use and how much is it worth to the end user? The  staff at Pacific Ag Research can help answer these questions with field and marketplace studies.

Evaluation of a potential pest control or fertility product involves much more than biological studies such as efficacy and environmental fate. Our market research staff is well experienced with the high cash fruit and vegetable pest management and plant nutrition markets. Including:

  • Current competitor products, their market price, biological attributes and limitations.

  • Identifying market opportunities and how your product could be positioned.

  • Identification of key distribution channels.

  • Identifying potential partnerships.

Efficacy studies are often designed to compare a new product to existing products, to establish rates, and to determine appropriate application timing.  Data can be collected throughout the season, or at harvest only.

Trials using the same standards and sharing untreated controls can be combined within any given commodity, or can be conducted singularly, as "stand alone" trials.

All research is conducted according to protocol provided by the client or written by Pacific Ag Research, according to the client's needs.  Data are analyzed statistically, then reported to the client in written format after the conclusion of the trial.

Trial reports include the raw data, the trialist's observations, environmental conditions, and photographs taken at key points during the trial.
